Our vibrant tutoring centre is dedicated to nurturing the unique talents of each student while fostering a love for exploration and creativity. We offer small group private tutoring to primary school students in English and Mathematics.

Our classroom
Our classroom provides a calm and quiet space for students to engage in their learning. A quiet, calm learning environment boosts concentration, creativity, and memory by reducing distractions and stress, allowing for better emotional regulation, deeper engagement, and improved problem-solving, ultimately leading to enhanced academic performance.
Learning Space
A serene setting minimizes auditory and visual distractions, allowing learners to concentrate more deeply on tasks. Studies also indicate that students in naturally lit, quiet environments can increase their academic performance (Heschong 2003).
Development of lifelong skills
This quiet and calm learning environment acts as a training ground for several essential lifelong skills such as cognitive and self-management skills, reflective thinking and a love of learning. These habits, once established in a low-distraction setting, provide a foundation for long-term personal success.
Developing confidence
A positive learning environment empowers students by providing opportunities for them to build confidence, speak up, address issues, take risks, and make decisions about what works for them. Encouraging students to share their opinions and make choices helps them feel more invested in their own learning.
Our Teachers
My Tutoring Centre was founded in 2018 when many parents and carers reached out to enquire about tutoring for their children in English and Mathematics. Parents were looking for a centre that was more personalised and able to work together to help their child reach their fullest potential.
We have a team of qualified and experienced teachers who have worked with many students throughout their careers as primary school teachers from Kindergarten to Year 10. Some of our teachers have worked for over 20 years in a variety of public and private schools and tutoring centres. We are a team of passionate and dedicated teachers and we consistently ensure that students learning needs are met and that students enjoy learning.
Our main focus at MTC is to help students improve or excel academically and we also aim to intrinsically motivate students to develop a love of learning through developing their communication skills and exposing them to a range of problem-solving strategies that could be applied to literacy and numeracy activities.
Success and progress does not happen overnight. At MTC, we will continuously encourage and support our students while providing support to parents so we can work collaboratively for the best outcomes for their children.
Teaching and Learning
At My Tutoring Centre, we assess all students during their first lesson and provide feedback to parents about their child's strengths and areas for improvement in English and Mathematics. A personalised learning plan will be developed to meet the needs of each student.

We offer small group private tutoring for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Year 7 to 10 Maths is available upon request.
Each session will be taught in small groups (4 students).
